    Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Analyst/Developer to join our Ashland business at our Wilmington, DE. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Corporate function. This position will report to Go To Market Manager

    Description

     The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    •  Working with users, business analysts to understand the business processes, needs and requirements to deliver the right solutions. 
    • Managing the full life cycle of development, from problem analysis, preparing specifications thru the testing and demonstrating business acceptance of the solution. 
    • Providing technical solutions utilizing salesforce.com Visualforce, Apex, Lightning components and integration tools. 
    • Working with business users and broader IT team for timely resolution of operational and project issues both functional and technical. 
    • Understanding and articulating our technical environment and associated roadmap for Salesforce.com and enabling CRM technologies used to meet the business needs. 
    • Contributes to and participates in estimation and resource planning for the solution delivery or enhancement projects. 
    • Participating on special projects and major initiatives related to CRM. Including projects to grow and deploy Digital / eMarketing capabilities  

    **This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.

    Qualifications

    In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

    • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator and Salesforce.com platform app developer certification a plus. 3-5 years in X supporting X
    • Proven experience with CRM systems/solutions agile delivery lifecycle and project management methodologies. Physical Requirements
    • Technical expertise working with Salesforce.com, Lightning and with systems integration in an SAP environment, preferred. Understanding of Apex Code, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, SOQL, JSON, XML and Relational Database Design.

    The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

    •  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or other technical major; graduate degree a plus.
    • 3-5 years of experience with CRM systems design and implementation (from business requirements identification through technology deployment).  Specifically, Salesforce.com sales cloud, service cloud, marketing cloud and mobile platforms.
    • Ability to work in an Agile environment. 
    • Understanding of Batch/Scheduled Apex, web services (SOAP and REST), proper test method methodologies, Apex triggers, bulk processing, Process Builder, Flows.
    • Understanding of Salesforce.com point-and-click developer interfaces, with the ability to distinguish the what development requires point-and-click and what requires custom coding.
    • Strong data analysis, oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing operations, workflow and lifecycle.
    • The ability to collaborate with business and IT team members at all levels of an organization to efficiently develop solutions and resolve process/operational, functional, data and technical issues.
    • The ability to collaborate, persuade and influence in a remote team setting.
    • The ability to provide end user training and change management support on CRM systems or tools.
