    Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain & Distribution Systems Specialist Senior at our Dublin, OH site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the IT function. This position will report to the SAP SD Process Manager.

    Description

    The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Partner with relationship managers and internal customers to understand business process, challenges, and requirements to help design business solutions and charter IT projects.
    • Serve as a functional consultant to translate new business requirements into solutions comprised of available SAP and/or SAP-related tools.
    • Responsible for designing, validating, implementing, and supporting final solutions.
    • Support the roll-out of SAP to new Ashland locations.
    • Support and drive process improvements within Ashland’s existing SAP Order to Cash (OTC) and Plan to Deliver (PTD) designs.
    • Provide education and support to end users to maximize the benefit of SAP to their daily job functions.
    • Support and drive internal IT process improvements.

    Qualifications

    In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

     

    • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field plus 6 years progressive, post-bachelors related experience.
    • Required experience must include at least 6 years in the following skills:
      • Creating detailed functional specification documents that include Visio flowcharts, written narrative of requirements, security specifications, and required negative and positive testing scenarios.
      • Project Management Experience
        • Writing and maintaining detailed project plans
        • Leading cross-functional project teams
      • SAP SD and LE configuration and support
        • Credit / FSCM configuration
        • Pricing configuration
        • SD and LE module security
        • Delivery, Shipping, and Transportation Planning
        • Output Management
        • IDOC processing
        • Integration of SD with LE, MM, PP, PM, and FICO
        • Understanding of the accounting postings that result from SD and LE module activity
        • ABAP Debugging
      • Agile methodologies
      • QA testing
      • SAP Implementations

     

    Travel required: 10-15% domestic and internationally.
