    Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Global HR Operations Manager to join our Ashland LLC business at our Wilmington, DE location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Human Resources function. This position will report to The Director, Global Compensation and Benefits.


    The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


      • Responsible for establishing HRIS and HR Ops systems and reporting strategy and roadmap
      • Global data governance of HR master data and supporting business processes; provide oversight to ensure proper protocols are in place that govern data quality
      • Serve as content manager responsible for all Global HR Sharepoint sites
      • Work collaboratively with HR functional leads, HR business partners and global HR leadership team; valued contributor in solution/process improvement recommendations
      • Provide global leadership for the evaluation, configuration, and deployment for Ashland’s HR IT business applications, including Core HCM platform(s), HR bolt-on applications and hosted business technology solutions (SaaS based)
      • Streamline end-to-end processes; transformation agent responsible for ensuring the continued improvement of HR service delivery; directs change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership, and accountability for change
      • Manage Human Resources compliance activities including relationships with various auditing parties, coordinating periodic SOX audits with internal/external Audit; managing non-compliance or findings including maintenance of key controls for efficiency
      • Manage vendor relations for HR applications & HR Operations; manages existing contracts; participates in negotiation during the RFP and vendor selection process; ensures issue escalation resolution and SLA delivery
      • Responsible for HR operations & HRIS budgets ensuring that budget constraints are met
      • Act as a liaison between the HR team and key business partners including Finance, Payroll, IT, Internal Audit, etc.
      • Build and cultivate stakeholder relationships with the ability to keep them engaged, responsible and dedicated in working toward deliverable goals and objectives
      • Ensure the use of technology solutions are in alignment with corporate HR goals across all business units and regions


    In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:


      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 5 – 8 years of experience managing an HRIS and/or HR Ops global team
      • Very strong Workday experience is required
      • Current or previous hands on involvement with the implementation of a complex HRIS global system
      • Ability to manage 3rd party vendors including contract negotiations and renewals
      • Project management experience, preferably in an HR systems/payroll environment, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex, potentially long-term projects
      • Comprehensive understanding of HR Core, Benefits, and Payroll business processes
