Ashland LLC has an exciting opportunity for an EH&S Regulatory Compliance Intern to join our EH&S group at our Wilmington, DE site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the EH&S function. This position will report to the Environmental Program Manager.


Typical responsibilities may include:

Provide compliance support to various groups, including; safety, health, and remediation

  • Assist with assignments pertaining to EH&S the safety and health of a mixed office and laboratory campus
  • Assist with improvements to corporate safety programs
  • Work with the remediation group on related projects.
  • Gather and analyze process and compliance data, identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Ad-hoc global project support for EH&S programs and systems
  • Evaluate and update risk assessments, procedures, and work instructions.

*This position is located in Wilmington, DE.


  • Commitment to work safely and provide excellent customer service.
  • Candidates will be working toward an undergrad degree in environmental or occupational health, or a related field
  • Knowledge of related agencies and programs a plus, such as: OSHA, RCRA, CTPAT, FMCSA and HTS
  • Ability to work individually and with the team.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Access a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
