Ashland is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our team. Great Opportunity to work with our team in Piedmont, SC!




Safety must be the First Priority. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of the team, independently, and be a self-starter and self-motivated.


This is a Warehouse Technician position involving distribution related activities.


This is a first shift position with a start time of 4AM  or 9AM. Monday -Fridays shift with some weekends and overtime.


Responsibilities include:

  • Shipping and receiving of package & bulk raw materials, and finished products, in pails, drums, tote bins, tank trucks and rail car quantities.
  • Transfer of materials around the plant as needed to accomplish shipping & receiving.
  • Analytical testing of finished products is required.
  • Activities include handling flammable liquids, reactive monomers, and other hazardous chemicals.
  • Record keeping and minor maintenance tasks can also be required in this position.
  • Position can require work outside loading trucks and dock work.
  • This job requires the wearing of Nomex uniforms daily, and other Personal Protective Equipment as dictated by the tasks performed.
  • This is a respirator-qualified position requiring a clean-shaven face when on-duty.
  • Qualified applicants will be detail-oriented, experienced in the use of personal computers, organized, and capable of paying close attention to accuracy.
  • Position requires climbing, lifting, use of a fork truck to move material, and operation of a yard tractor to move tank trucks.
  • Work schedule will require some weekend shifts.
  • Prior experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.



Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.


 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5 years previous chemical or manufacturing plant experience desired. Military experience is a plus.
