Learn more about Columbus!

Columbus, the capital of Ohio, is a well-blended mixture of government, industry, and the vast Ohio State University. Sprawling but attractive residential suburbs have emerged, especially to the northwest, starting with the high end Upper Arlington just west of Ohio State, moving out to Hilliard along the I-270 beltway, northwest to Dublin and around the corner to Worthington and Westerville to the east. These areas have excellent housing, shopping, schools, golf courses and civic amenities in a layout more spacious, wooded and attractive area than many similar cities in the region.

Ashland sits in the quaint suburb of Dublin, which is a progressive, well-educated and innovative city surrounding the Scioto River in the northwest area of metropolitan Columbus. Residents enjoy a thriving economy, highly rated schools, acres of green space, unlimited restaurant and shopping as well as world class attractions including an award-winning zoo, the Memorial Golf Tournament and the nation’s largest Irish Festival. It is known as a leader in municipal innovations, including tax increment financing, underground fiber optics, Wi-Fi deployment and green initiatives. Dublin offers over 1,098 acres of developed parkland, 123 acres of undeveloped parkland, 56 developed parks ranging from wooded natural areas and river frontage to active, athletic facilities and 96 miles of bike paths.
