Overview

In support of the global Compensation team, the Compensation Specialist will work directly with Global Compensation Consultants ensuring the effective administration, reporting, analysis of compensation related policies, programs and information systems.  The ideal candidate would have an understanding of human resource programs, an understanding of compensation programs and processes and the use of the SAP system (Or another ERP system).

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support compensation processes and policies and related IT systems 
  • Assists in the execution and administration and providing analytical support for a related compensation policies and programs.
  • Conduct salary surveys and participating in them, interpreting salary data, performing analysis.
  • Prepares statistical analysis, data modeling, costing of base for compensation programs.
  • Providing support to HR department concerning interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines.
  • Creates process documentation and conducts training as needed.
  • Researches, analyzes and prepares supporting data for the review of annual salary budgets and incentives.
  • Researches, analyzes and prepares reports outlining market competitive pay practices and programs relating to base pay, bonuses, recognition programs and other pay practices within the US and non-US countries.
  • Support managers and employees by answering questions related compensation programs and systems.
  • Prepares complex reports and makes applicable recommendations.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

**This position is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.

 

**This position will be located in Dublin, OH

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Three to five years of experience in Human Resources with a concentration in compensation and administration of compensation systems is required
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP system strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to draw conclusions from analysis
  • Self-starter and can effectively work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment
