Ashland LLC has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Staff Auditor.

 

**This position is in Dublin, OH.

 

Description

As a staff auditor, you will work under the direction of a lead auditor and/or manager to support domestic and international projects by assisting in assessing and determining key risks, objectives and audit steps, performing detail testing, and addressing issues to appropriate management.  

         

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute detailed audit program steps that involve reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, and compliance with established policies and procedures;
  • Prepare work papers to properly record and summarize the results of detailed audit testing and express an opinion on the outcome of detailed testing;
  • Execute detailed validation and testing of key controls for Sarbanes Oxley compliance;
  • Apply tools for data retrieval and analysis (Excel, SAP, BW, etc.) and increasingly recognize opportunities to use such tools and demonstrating advanced techniques.

**This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.

Qualifications

  • 0 - 2 years of public or corporate accounting, finance, or other relevant business experience required; prior internal audit experience certainly a plus.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Decision Science and Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or comparable major; Minimum 3.25 GPA preferred; Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, results-driven team environment;
  • Individual initiative, project management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20%;
  • Must be committed to attaining relevant professional certification (CIA or CPA);
  • Foreign language skills a plus;
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
