The Corporate Quality Specialist is primarily responsible for controlled documents (including technical documentation) related to all GMP compliance programs for all of the 5 New Jersey locations as well as assisting with any data trending, monitoring, and guidance on documentation needs for Pharmachem facilities.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Administrative responsibility for generation, approval and maintenance of  all Corporate Quality documents including, but not limited to, Master Formulations, Packaging Component Specifications, Master Batch Records, Complaints/Material Reviews, Change Controls, CAPAs, and all Procedures (SOPs. Corporate Policies, Forms, Training Assessments and Quality Control Test Methods).
  • Data Entry and Maintenance of data including paper files, electronic files and databases (i.e. product manuals, training, SOPs, etc.).
  • Verify qualification status of every raw material (including toll work) received by checking supplier documentation (i.e. Allergen, Non-GMO, Gluten, Organic, etc.) and ensure Chempax is accurately reflecting that status.  Maintain and update all lists associated with raw material alerts.
  • Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing the FSVP component of HARPC/117 in terms of Supplier Qualification (i.e. Supplier, Contract Manufacturer, and 3rd Party Lab questionnaires). Includes reviewing and evaluating risk level of suppliers and customers (toll work). 
  • Monitor, follow up, and trend data related to critical programs for all NJ sites such as Preventive Maintenance, Temperature Mapping, Water Testing, Compressed Air, Master Sanitation Schedule, Environmental testing, ATP swabbing, OOS and others to ensure that expectations and procedures/policies are being met.
  • Assist Corporate Quality Management with the trending/baseline data to establish and maintain improvements such as KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) which will reflect department and company improvements. 
  • Assist in communications to the Purchasing department regarding corrections/ additional information/ questionnaires etc. needed from suppliers.
  • Responsible for the documentation archival process for all controlled documents at the Corporate level. (i.e. training records, material reviews, change controls, and audit reports).
  • Assisting with customer and regulatory audits as required.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.

**This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.



  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in dietary supplement, pharmaceuticals, or related discipline.
  • Must be proactive and a self-starter with strong work ethic who works well independently and within a team context.
  • Must have working knowledge of necessary programs used in generating and evaluations data, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, excellent follow up and time management skills.  
  • Must be able to speak and write in English and communicate effectively with all associates and management.
