Ashland LLC has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Hazard Communication Expert (SME)


**This position can be in Bridgewater, NJ or Wilmington, DE.




The hazard communication subject matter expert is responsible for managing and executing hazard communication projects and continuous programs. The expert will be an internal and external point of contact for hazard communication questions and requests.


Job Duties include:


• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Hazard Communication RC standard at our global manufacturing sites.
• Maintain and mature the raw material SDS management program at our manufacturing and R&D facilities.
• Roll-out the use of the material change report to our manufacturing and warehousing sites and provide user training for employees.
• Identify internal and external customer needs regarding hazard communication and develop tools or guidance to meet those needs
• Develop, support and roll-out other projects regarding hazard communication
• Design, develop and document processes to streamline hazard communication topics


**This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.


• Bachelor degree, preferably in a chemical or related discipline
• Proven project management and communication skills
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

• Great communication and project management skills

• Ability to develop and setup projects including action items and time-line
• Service oriented and sensitive to business needs without losing focus of legislative requirements
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to make decisions, set priorities and work independently
• Fast learner with a flexible style and the ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Data management skills including using programs as Excel, Access etc.
• Experience creating presentations and training documentation using e.g. PowerPoint
